OPI’s Systems Development Team configures, designs, and develops enabling software products using the latest technologies. While OPI’s approach leverages each client’s existing ERP system, there are a number of add-on technologies that work to automate and digitize processes, track and monitor process flow, and report on performance.
Each system – whether it be based on a workflow, imaging, tracking, or reporting platform – is custom designed for each client, in order to fit seamlessly with their current systems and requirements. The Systems Development team interfaces with both the client and the OPI client team in order to develop business and technical requirements, beta test concepts, implement system designs, and test and launch final configurations.
Given the breadth of projects our team delivers, it is important for Systems Development employees to possess a strong command of the latest technologies, as well as familiarity with a range of development platforms. Most employees join OPI with a degree, or related experience, in Systems, and are able to program in multiple languages. While it is important for our team members to bring technical competency, it is critical that they also exhibit creativity and innovation in their solution designs.
The systems designed by our team members directly contribute to positive performance and encourage improved efficiency and effectiveness of both internal processes and client operations.
